Terms of Service
By downloading, installing, or using the getPage application, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before use.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the getPage desktop application ("Software") and the website at nci.pl/getpage ("Website"), both provided by Nadmorskie Centrum Internetowe ("Provider").
By downloading, installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Software.
2. License grant
The Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms.
The Lite edition may be used free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial purposes within its functional limits. The Pro edition requires a valid activation code purchased from the Provider.
3. Acceptable use
- Respect copyright and intellectual property. You must not use the Software to download, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content that you do not have the legal right to access, copy, or share. Before downloading a website, verify that you are permitted to do so by the site owner and by applicable law.
- Respect robots.txt and website terms. You should observe the crawling rules specified by website operators. The Software supports robots.txt by default — disabling this feature does not relieve you of your obligation to respect the wishes of website owners.
- Do not generate excessive or malicious traffic. You must not use the Software to flood servers, create unnecessary network load, or otherwise disrupt the normal operation of any website or network. Set reasonable crawl delays and page limits.
- No denial-of-service attacks. The Software must not be used, directly or indirectly, to carry out or facilitate distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, stress testing of third-party infrastructure without authorization, or any other form of attack against network services.
- No unlawful purposes. You must not use the Software for any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law, including but not limited to data protection regulations, computer fraud statutes, and trade secret laws.
- No reverse engineering. You must not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
The Software, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of the Provider and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to the Provider's trademarks, logos, or other brand elements. You may not redistribute, sublicense, or sell the Software or any part thereof without the Provider's prior written consent.
5. Pro edition and activation codes
Pro activation codes are single-use licenses tied to the purchasing party. Each code has a limited number of activations. Sharing, reselling, or publicly posting activation codes is prohibited.
The Provider reserves the right to block activation codes that have been abused or obtained fraudulently.
6. User responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you download using the Software and for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable laws and third-party rights.
The Provider does not control, monitor, or endorse websites accessed through the Software. Downloading a website does not imply any permission or authorization by the Provider regarding the content of that website.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Provider does not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every website or system configuration.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Software.
In no event shall the Provider's total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Software. The Provider may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy any copies in your possession.
10. Changes to these terms
The Provider may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts competent for the Provider's registered office.
